XS Scuba Rebuildable & Adjustable OPV Over Pressure Valve

The XS Scuba Rebuildable and Adjustable OPV is a compact over-pressure valve designed to help protect a scuba first stage and its low-pressure system if intermediate pressure rises beyond the selected relief setting. Its serviceable construction makes it suited to technical configurations, test equipment, and other compatible regulator applications where a dedicated relief valve is required.

The stainless-steel body uses Viton O-rings and a machined Delrin cap. The relief pressure can be adjusted within a 150–250 psi range; XS Scuba currently specifies a factory preset of 200 psi, plus or minus 10 psi. A standard 3/8-24 UNF male thread installs in a compatible medium-pressure regulator port.

This is a regulator-service component, not a substitute for correcting a malfunctioning first stage. Selection, adjustment, installation, and pressure testing should be completed only by a trained regulator technician using calibrated equipment and the requirements of the complete breathing system.
