The Highland HL209 Side-Slide Weight Pockets add ditchable ballast to a compatible 2-inch webbing harness, commonly used with a backplate-and-wing system. Each pocket holds up to 12 pounds of lead, giving the pair a published combined capacity of 24 pounds.

Large front-mounted side-squeeze buckles support deliberate weight release. An adjustment strap with D-ring cinches each pocket, while the dual-grommet tail can fasten to a backplate to help prevent the pockets from sliding forward. A 30-degree rear web retainer also permits an upward mounting angle.
