Trident 6mm Shortbarb Rockpoint Detachable Breakaway Tip

Pair a breakaway-style rockpoint with a compatible 6mm speargun shaft using the Trident HT89 Short-Barb Detachable Tip. Its hardened stainless steel rockpoint is matched with short double wings, a spinner base, and a detachable cable so a large fish can move the tip and cable with less twisting force transferred directly to the shaft.

The supporting merchant source lists an approximately 2-5/8 inch wingspan and a standard 3/8 inch point profile. A wing retainer helps control the barbs and makes removal easier after landing the fish.

Confirm shaft-thread compatibility and inspect the cable, bushing, spinner, retainer, and point before each use. Trident states that spear-point components are not bonded together, so tighten and verify the entire assembly before and after every outing. Cover the sharp point during transport and comply with all local spearfishing, species, season, size, and bag-limit rules.
