The Vindicator Visual Safety Tank Valve Air On/Off Color Indicator

The Vindicator replaces a compatible scuba-cylinder valve handle with a color-ring system that gives divers and staff a quick visual cue to valve position. With the valve closed, the red ring remains fully visible; as the handle opens, the green ring advances over the red until the green ring covers it at the fully open position.

Multiple handle models fit specific valve families, with selected models also offered in Nitrox Green. Choose by the exact valve manufacturer and model rather than appearance alone, because the inserts and handle geometry vary between versions.

The color display is only a supplemental visual cue and never replaces a hands-on valve check, pressure-gauge confirmation, buddy check, or breathing from the regulator before entry. Have the correct model installed by a qualified technician, verify unobstructed valve operation and ring travel, and remove the cylinder from service if the indicator is damaged, ambiguous, or does not match the actual valve position.
