The Trident Protective Sling Saver Speargun Sock covers the rubber or latex power bands on a speargun while the gun is being transported, stored, or staged before entering the water. Shielding the bands helps limit exposure to sunlight, air, salt spray, and contact with nearby equipment.

The fitted cover also keeps loose bands contained so a rigged speargun is easier to organize with the rest of a dive kit. It is a storage and transport accessory; it does not replace inspection or timely replacement of aging power bands.
