Akona 5/3mm Quantum Stretch Zippered Hood

Akona’s 5/3 mm Quantum Stretch hood adds thermal coverage around the head, neck, and bib while making entry easier with a YKK Delrin zipper. The main hood uses 5 mm neoprene; Akona lists 3 mm material around the face seal, neck, and bib, plus a vented top and blind-stitched construction.

Compare the hood size with your head and neck measurements and try it with your mask and exposure suit. A seal that sits comfortably and allows normal breathing and equalization is more useful than one that feels overly tight.
