The Garmin Descent Mk2 combines a full-featured multi-gas dive computer with everyday smartwatch, navigation, training, and wellness tools. Its six dive modes cover single-gas, multi-gas, closed-circuit rebreather, gauge, apnea, and apnea-hunt use, while the Buhlmann ZHL-16C decompression model supports technical configuration within the diver's training.

A color display, three-axis dive compass, surface GPS, dive logging, wrist-based heart-rate features, and rechargeable battery make it useful from trip planning through post-dive review. Garmin rates the Mk2 to 10 ATM and EN 13319, with a depth sensor specified to 100 meters.
