Tilos Panoramic 3 Lens w/ Nose Purge Mask

Regular price From $67.95

Quick answer: The Tilos Panoramic is a three-window mask, with a front lens plus side windows, that opens up your peripheral view. Tilos's patented panoramic construction makes the glass joints nearly disappear when you're wearing it, and a one-way nose purge lets you clear water without lifting the skirt. Tempered glass, a crystal silicone skirt and strap, and a heavy-duty storage box round it out.

Fit note for bigger divers

Tilos doesn't publish a face-size rating for this mask, so we can't tell you it's built for broad faces. What it does offer is a bright, open view: the side windows let in light and cut that boxed-in feeling some divers get in a two-lens mask. Run the fit test below, and if you have a wide face, compare it against our wide-fit masks.

What it does well

The purge valve is the convenience feature. Exhale through your nose and water goes out the bottom, and Tilos's patented channeled skirt steers those purge bubbles away from your line of sight. The near-invisible joints between the front and side glass give you a smoother, uninterrupted panorama than older side-window designs. Tempered glass lenses add safety and durability.

Before you buy

Hold it to your face without the strap and breathe in gently through your nose. It should stay put without pressure at your temples or nose pocket. Rinse the purge valve with fresh water after every dive so salt and sand don't keep it from sealing. Read How to Fit a Dive Mask. More options: Wide-Fit Scuba Masks for Larger Faces.
