XS Scuba Stalker Freediving Mask
Quick answer: The XS Scuba Stalker is a low-volume freediving and spearfishing mask with lenses set close to the eyes for maximum peripheral vision, buckles mounted directly on the skirt and camo skirts made with water transfer printing. The all-black version has a special lens coating so fish can't see your eyes.
Fit note for bigger divers
XS Scuba doesn't publish a face-size rating for the Stalker. Low-volume freediving masks sit close to the face, so if you have a broad face or fuller cheeks, do the fit test below carefully and compare it against our wide-fit masks.
What it does well
Low volume means clearing takes very little air and you need to equalize the mask less often, a real advantage on breath-hold dives. With the lenses close to your eyes, your peripheral view opens up. Skirt-mounted buckles cut weight and drag, and the camo or blacked-out finish helps you blend in so fish are less likely to spook. It's been a favorite with freedivers and spearos since it launched in 2016.
