Sherwood Mimic Mask
Quick answer: The Sherwood Mimic is a low-volume, frameless single-lens mask with a wide field of view and a fun twist: every mask comes with seven interchangeable frame inserts. Sherwood designed it for medium-sized faces, so if your face runs wide, read the fit notes below first.
Straight talk on fit
We'd rather tell you here than have you find out on the boat. Sherwood says plainly that the Mimic is built for medium faces and isn't the first pick for very wide faces without trying it on. If you've fought leaks at the cheeks or pressure at the temples, start with a mask made for bigger faces, like the XS Scuba Cortez Mask for Larger Faces or the Scubapro Frameless Gorilla, or browse our Wide-Fit Scuba Masks for Larger Faces.
Why it's worth a look
If the Mimic fits you, it's a lot of mask. The frameless single lens gives an open, expansive view, and the low profile sits close to your face so it clears easily. Swivel buckles with quick connect and disconnect make it easy to put on, take off and fine-tune. And you never have to pick just one color. Black, White, Blue, Red, Yellow, Magenta and Tiffany inserts are all in the box, so you can match your fins, your BCD or your mood.

Fit check before you dive
Hold it to your face without the strap and breathe in gently through your nose. It should stay put without pressing at your temples or nose pocket. If it only seals with the strap pulled tight, it isn't the right size for you. Read Wide Face Dive Mask Options That Actually Fit and How to Fit a Dive Mask.
