SCUBAPRO Fluorescent Writing Slate

The SCUBAPRO Fluorescent Writing Slate gives divers a simple, reusable way to communicate when hand signals are not enough. It is useful for writing a name, recording dive information, sketching a route, or giving a buddy a message that needs more detail than pointing and hoping.

Set format and use

The fluorescent slate is designed to remain easier to see in reduced-light conditions. A pencil is attached by a coiled tether so the writing tool stays with the slate, and the included snap hook provides an attachment point for a BCD or another suitable gear location. The reusable surface can be erased between dives.

Before ordering

Choose an attachment point that keeps the slate reachable without allowing it to dangle or create an entanglement hazard. Rinse the slate, pencil, tether, and clip with fresh water after diving. Inspect the tether and attachment hardware periodically, especially if the slate is carried frequently.
