Shearwater Research Teric Color Wrist Dive Computer
The Shearwater Teric packs the capabilities of a full-featured recreational and technical dive computer into a compact wrist-watch format, combining an exceptionally bright color display with advanced diving features, flexible wrist-fit options and Shearwater's intuitive interface.
The Teric features a 1.39-inch full-color AMOLED display with 400 x 400 resolution. Its vivid, high-contrast screen makes critical dive information easy to see underwater, while the sapphire crystal window and 316 stainless-steel bezel and buttons provide rugged protection for serious diving.
For divers who need additional wrist room, the Teric's 22 mm strap system includes an extender, and Shearwater also supplies a Remora webbing strap designed for use over a drysuit. That flexibility makes the Teric an excellent option for divers who find conventional watch-style dive computer straps too restrictive.
The Teric supports recreational and technical diving including Air, Nitrox, 5-Gas Nitrox, OC Technical Trimix, Closed Circuit/Bailout, Gauge and Freediving modes. It uses the Bühlmann ZHL-16C decompression algorithm with configurable Gradient Factors.
Wireless air integration allows the Teric to pair with compatible Shearwater transmitters, providing tank-pressure information directly on the computer. With current firmware, the Teric supports up to four transmitters. Transmitters are sold separately unless specifically included with the product configuration being purchased.
A built-in 3-axis, tilt-compensated digital compass, switchable audible and vibration alerts, Bluetooth connectivity and customizable display options round out a remarkably capable computer.
