ScubaSox are thin Lycra-blend liners intended to reduce friction while putting on wetsuits and dive boots. They are most useful when the suit fits once positioned but catches during donning; they do not repair an undersized suit.
Scuba socks are worth considering when they solve a specific donning or rubbing problem. Thin Lycra liners add little bulk; neoprene socks provide a different level of thickness and insulation. Choose around your boots, fins and water conditions.
Dive socks may reduce rubbing when they lie smooth inside correctly fitted boots or fins. They cannot guarantee blister prevention or correct footwear that squeezes, slips or traps grit. Fix the source of friction before adding thickness.
