Choosing Your Setup

Fit the mounts over the suit you intend to use. Comfortable strap placement and reachable controls matter more than choosing a configuration by body weight alone.

At FGSS, comfortable equipment starts with the complete setup: your reach, grip, exposure protection, and mounting position. A scooter can reduce continuous finning effort, but it does not guarantee lower gas consumption or make an unsuitable dive plan appropriate.

Published maximum speed and runtime depend on settings, load, drag, current, and conditions. Treat the depth rating as an equipment limit, not a recommendation to dive beyond your training.
