LEFEET P1 Modular Underwater Scooter - 60m Depth
The LEFEET P1 combines a compact modular design with more thrust than the P1 Lite. It is an option for divers who want powered assistance without jumping straight to a larger dual setup. At FGSS, we start with how you will carry, control, and use it with the rest of your kit.
Scooter Specifications
- Up to 9 kgf thrust and 2.0 m/s published maximum speed per scooter, with four speed settings.
- 60 m (approximately 197 ft) depth rating and hard-anodized aluminum construction.
- 2.4 kg (5.29 lb) main unit per scooter, before additional mounting accessories.
- Replaceable 100 Wh battery; up to 60 minutes advertised runtime, depending on use.
- Up to 100W PD charging and reverse charging; LEFEET lists about 1.5 hours to charge a 100 Wh battery.
Choosing Your Setup
Compare the standard P1 with the Lite if packing weight is your priority, or the XR if you want more published thrust. Choose a mounting arrangement you can comfortably control.
At FGSS, comfortable equipment starts with the complete setup: your reach, grip, exposure protection, and mounting position. A scooter can reduce continuous finning effort, but it does not guarantee lower gas consumption or make an unsuitable dive plan appropriate.
Published maximum speed and runtime depend on settings, load, drag, current, and conditions. Treat the depth rating as an equipment limit, not a recommendation to dive beyond your training. Plan for a scooter failure and a safe return, and follow the operating instructions. Check your airline’s battery requirements before travel.
Rob's take: I personally own and use LEFEET on almost every dive, and I love it.
